Meet Dipalika

Dipalika has a goal of contributing to accessible and inclusive therapy. This led her to pursue MSc in Clinical Health Psychology, making the distance from India where she worked across different settings using her lived experience to build unique relationships with each individual.

She brings her experience of working with individuals who have complex needs and believes in a collaborative approach that maximises each person’s internal resources. She draws from evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and grounds her approach in people’s personal values. She hopes to foster a guided discovery where clients are able to lead their own journey to recovery.

Her experience with the healthcare system in the UK has shaped her approach to be reciprocal, progressive and safe, drawing from her ongoing recovery. She recognises that recovery is multifaceted and aims to challenge systemic barriers. She firmly believes that everyone is worthy of recovery and care, and finding support within the right service can help facilitate that. Everyone has a personal journey, and this motivates her to improve recovery for others
